Many network researchers have been working on

protocols and algorithms
Any of such new ideas must be rigorously tested
and evaluated before being deployed in the actual
Internet
Many kinds of network testbed have been
developed and some of them were widely used in
network research community
However, most of these testbeds are built with the

legacy network technology and provide limited
networking experiment service for the researchers

Propose a new Future Internet testbed architecture

based on the open Infrastructure-as-a-Service cloud
and Software Defined Network
Design the experiment description framework, the
web-based access portal, the IaaS cloud and SDN
infrastructure, and the experiment resource
infrastructure
allocator.
The initial implementation and test results show
that this new testbed architecture built on IaaS cloud
and SDN is feasible and flexible to provide new
services other than network experiment
