Welcome to Issue 3 of Edinburgh
Remploynewsletter.
This month we are busy recruiting
for security and retail vacancies.
Also, we have placements
availablefor a well known DIY
store in replenishment roles and
also retailplacements.
We are now running several
development courses in:
Key Skills - which willhelp our
candidateswith alljobsearching
skills from cv updates to interview
techniques
Introduction to usingIT for
jobsearching – thiscourse covers
everything from using universal
jobsearch, attaching documents
(e.g. CV and cover letter) to email
and navigating theinternet for
jobvacancies and signing up for
jobalerts. This willgive
independence to our candidates
and empower them to access
online jobvacancies
independently.
LivingLife to the Full – our
trained specialist advisors are
now running thisinvaluable
course to assist candidates
experiencing mental health issues
to tacklebarriers in a more
positiveway.
The five week course will offer
solutions that willset candidates
on theroad to feeling better.
Finally, a member of theteam
(Lisa Howe) is currently training in
British Sign
Language therefore
we willbe ableto
providea fuller
service to deaf
candidates(who
use BSL)
