A Conversation With Adam
1. A CONVERSATION WITH ADAM
a descent into the underworld
AJ: “Are you Adam that was created from the dust of the earth?”
Man: “I am he. Why ask of me from among the many who are here?”
AJ: “Because you look very much like Him, I recognize you from the externals of which He took
from you before you fell from grace.”
Man: “We saw Him, beautiful and resplendent with glory, when He came to preach unto us,
preparing the way for us to leave and ascend with Him to Heaven.”
AJ: “He will soon resurrect his saints and the mystical body for which He came to instruct.”
Man: “What generation and promise did you come?”
AJ: “I came thousands of years and hundreds of generations after you, bearing the same nature
but with the effects from your fall, to which you were the source and originator, following the
first woman into disobedience from the command of God; being baptized into the mystical body,
a priestly kingdom, the promise made to the patriarchs and prophets of old.”
Man: “I am sorry my child that you have to bear witness of my fallen nature. It isn’t your fault
that you have the effects to my original sin. Had I not disobeyed, humanity would be blameless
and the children after me. The possession of earthly paradise, of which I was the sovereign head,
relied on my decision whether to fall from grace or not. Afterward, I was expelled and the
cosmos went into confusion with me; then death entered the world.”
“Had I known of the consequences which would befall my children after me, I would not have
eaten of the forbidden fruit.”
2. AJ: “God foresaw and He furnished a remedy, an even greater good which would come. He
reestablished His kingdom on earth, now headed by the sovereign pontiff, to which you were a
figure and type ahead of time, for he who holds the keys to paradise; thus the earthly paradise in
which you were placed was also a type and fulfillment that is to come.”
Man: “The paradise in which I lived was a presanctified place, where the spiritual and the
earthly had its communion with the most perfect order and harmony, all things directed to the
supernatural end of man’s existence. Had I not transgressed, man would have had a peaceful
existence and been translated to Heaven after his sojourn.”
AJ: “The world no longer believes in such fanciful story. They now say that order was created
out of chaos or destruction, new life from death, man from animal.”
Man: “Who do you say that I am?”
AJ: “You are Adam, of the earth.”
“The source of human nature and cause of the fall of the whole human race.”
Man: “Who do men say that I am?”
AJ: “You are of lesser animals and lower life forms, a glorified ape-man.”
Man: “Surely I say to you, when I was created, all life forms and animals were already created
and they were created with me in mind as the summit of perfection, so that they should recognize
me as having ownership over them. If any of them has any (structural) similarity with me, it is
because He had put such indelible mark on them that they should regard me as their lord and
master with rational nature to rule over them.
AJ: “Man now spends his days trying to gain worldly honors and pursuits. He no longer believes
in higher purpose than what the world could offer him. After the fall, the world has become a
selfish place to live, where brothers fight against brother, broken families and society in moral
decline, where every man for himself and spiritual death reigns over all. Man wants to overcome
nature and break her physical laws, as if he could become immortal and a god unto himself.”
“All of it to no real end when death enters his temporal existence, one after another.”
“Then the whole fallen race shall be no more.”
Man: “When I was in the earthly paradise, I knew only the love of God for the life of God was
indwelling in me. My existence was ordered to a spiritual, not material, end. Material creation
was already self-sufficient in itself. My body was in obedience to the dictates of my soul, and I
used my full faculties to advance in holiness. I was infused with knowledge of the laws of nature
and of His existence; I walked with Him; for, to this purpose that I was created and the children
who would come after me had I not sinned.”
3. “Man was called to subdue the living creatures of the earth. Even the forces of nature obeyed my
commands, from the simple life form to essential plant life that gave sustenance for my body to
the heavenly bodies (which intoned delightful sounds from morning rise to the evening time
which were songs of praises to the Lord) for my spiritual uplifting. Heaven and earth were
perfectly united, one providing reinforcement to the other, but then all of it changed and things
fell out of order, once I made the decision to eat of the fruit.”
AJ: “After the fall, man became divided unto himself. The city of man separated from the city of
God, the ungodly departed from the godly. The promised line kept the knowledge of the Messiah,
and the rest of humanity fell from grace as they spread over the face of the earth… the farther
they went, the more they seem to forget the One True God.”
“With the coming of the Lord, the grafting of broken family ties soon began. The calling forth of
the righteous from the unbelievers, from the chosen people to all the tribes of the earth. The
migration has already begun, and the chosen are incorporated back into the true fold of
humanity. Now even within its members, there are the spiritual living as well as the dead, the
latter giving tribulation to the former.”
Man: “The members of this body that you speak of, do they believe what I knew and do they
follow in the calling to which I was ordained?”
AJ: “After 2,000 years since the coming of the Lord, confusion and dissension have spread
through its members, as if a disease has infected parts of the body. It seems like almost everyone
goes his own way according to his own idea, even if contrary to the revelation of God. There is
infighting among members. They who are supposed to lead no longer teach the same belief
received from tradition and have fallen away from the correct path to holiness, compromising
with the world and its teachings. The idea of a supernatural beginning of man is denied or
rejected and the hope for man’s salvation is open to humanistic interpretation with all
religions.”
Man: “What do you believe?”
AJ: “A religion which claims to be supernatural must surely have had a supernatural beginning.
If this present kingdom of God is ‘supernaturally’ founded with a ‘supernatural’ destiny, then
man must have been created with a capacity for the supernatural in the beginning. For
whichever parts that have become defective must be cut off so that new parts may grow or be
drafted back in. The restoration of the body can then commence.”
Man. “What will you do with such belief in the world of unbelief?”
AJ: “I come to do God’s will. In order to be of any service to the mystical body, I must put my
own member into subjection to the spirit, as I myself being chastised. I have come to help my
brothers to gather in unity, to be a scourge for the dissidents and an enemy for the ungodly, a
participant with the angelic and a foe to the fallen spirits.”
4. Man: “Where are you going?”
AJ: “I must be about my Father’s business. Where the Lord goes, I follow. As He ascends to His
Father, I follow Him. Forever will I desire to ascend to the Most High to become like unto Him,
moving closer yet never reaching high enough and being filled yet never completely satisfied, to
the end of the endless ages.”
“I await for the new heaven and the new earth.”
“For the day when mortal life of man will end and the judgment will be rendered to every living
creature, that the destruction of fire may come about for the restoration of the whole universe,
where man will able to live in a most perfect existence, when he will be able to traverse through
the universe with the power of his mind, creating his world beyond worlds from the command of
his perfected soul, and he in turn will be subject to Christ. Still, moreover, he will be able to
move in and out of the universe to the Heaven where the ‘Ancient uncreated’ lives, never losing
the sight of God in his mind where ever he may go.”
“I want to live forever.”
Man: “I have given you the prerequisite of nature, now you must cooperate with grace, so you’ll
be able rise above your nature and ascend to the throne of God.”
“God’s speed, my son.”
