9. Are there hospitals which specialize in treatment of different ailment?
Wendy: Yes, in each hospital you will get some help for every disease you have. Only one hospital is more
specialized than the other one.
Is free treatment available for the poorer sections of the society?
Wendy: Yes, in Holland everyone has care. That care is paid by our tax. assistance. For better care you need an
insurance. Also immigrants and tourists can get that care, but then it’s only emergency
What are the problems faced by people during times of emergency or in critical conditions?
Wendy: Everyone get help in emergency or in critical conditions.

Villa Pardoes
Behind the Efteling (an attraction park), there is Villa Pardoes. That is an holiday paradise for families with
sick children. These children have a serious, life-threatening disease. They can play here with other
children, who have the same problem, and their parents can talk with fellow sufferers. Villa Pardoes is a
foundation with a very good intent, to give sick children and their family a fantastic holiday!!

By law every citizen of the Netherlands has the
right on medical insurance. And I you can’t paid
it then then the municipality will paid it for you.
If you are illegal in the Netherlands and you don’t
have an medical insurance then hospitals cannot
refuse you if your life is in danger.
22. If people stay calm there are none !
You phone the emergency number 112 or the
doctors station. They tell you:
◦ Come over to the doctors station
◦ Go to the hospital
◦ Wait for an ambulance ( max time to wait 15 min.)

24. It was a really nice project to work on. And we
had a very nice group, everyone worked hard
on it. The interviews were very funny cause we
knew the people. I would do differently: the
tasks division.
It was a really nice project and we look forward
