2. Instructions Students are to sit with their group members in a row (e.g. Group 1 members will use Row 1 computers). Refer to Slide 3. Students will be given internet links to historical sources which include newspaper articles, excerpts of speeches and letters. These sources bring up various political and economic reasons for Separation. Refer to Slide 4. Each group will be assigned a factor. Refer to Slide 5. Group task: Examine the sources, pick out, analyze and group reasons that fall under this factor. Summarize these reasons into 4-5 key points and type it onto a Microsoft Word document. Save it as “ClassXGroupY.doc”, X being your class and Y being your group name. Upload document on the school portal in the folder “Secondary Two History Separation”. Groups will access each other’s work via the school portal and evaluate each other’s work using the given Peer Evaluation worksheet.
