Doing school digitally increasing conflicts and confrontations COLLAPSE Top of Form Teenagers have more conflicts and confrontations with their parents now that they are having to do school through digital learning at home because of schools closing due to Covid 19. Having to do school digitally (independent variable) is causing more conflicts and confrontations (dependent variable) between teenagers and their parents (Stangor, 2015, p. 37). To research this, I will use the probability using a stratified sampling, and have strata or subgroups of ages, gender, and what grade they are in (Stangor, 2015, p. 113).. Using a stratified sampling would allow teenage students from all over to respond. This would also allow me to tell which, if any, groups were having more conflicts and confrontations because of having to do school digitally. Since the state I live in is not allowed to leave our residence except for essential needs, because of Covid 19, in order to recruit participants I would post on social media that I am doing a research project for a class and have a couple of questions that I need teenagers to respond to. I would post the questions and tell anyone who wanted to participate could send me a private message with their answers. I would also ask parents on social media to ask their teenagers and send me a private message. My own teenagers would text their friends and share the information with me. Reference: Stangor, C.
