• What is this film about?
• This is a film about a character called Katniss Everdeen who
voluntarily takes her younger sisters place in the Hunger
Games. The Hunger Games is a televised fight to the death in
which two teenagers from each of the twelve districts of
Panem are chosen at random to compete.

• What are the main themes?
• The main themes in this film are: severe
poverty, starvation, oppression and the effects of war among
others.

• Who was your favourite character?
• I cannot really choose my favourite scene from this film. I like
everything about this film. I liked how Katniss volunteered for
the Hunger games to save her sister. Also, I like the scene at
the ending when Katnniss and Peeta decide to die together
than kill one or the other.

• What was your favourite scene?
• The scene that I didn't enjoy was the death of the little girl
Rue. This scene to me was very emotional. Even though I
knew in that scene that Rue was going to die, at the same
time I didn't want to believe it.
