      It seems like yesterday, I was just an egg and knew/new I was not whole/hole.
         Unlike today in awesome slender, brand knew/new out of my whole/hole.

                 Metamorphosis is my father and now I am his sun/son.
              He has given me my wings. Now I can fly toward the sun/son.

                This week/weak will be different, I/aye! Better than before.
          As freedom calls my name, weak/week in this cast I/aye am no more.

                Feeling oh so vein/vain; I should say this allowed/aloud?
        To say that beauty lies within my vein/vain is truth, So, I’m allowed/aloud!

                 I must enjoy it while I can. In 14 days, I may have to die.
                  For sure I have no worries, so now tell me. What am I?
