The BOSS Power Management Suite is a modular, web-based
predictive analysis management application, enabling the identification
of power supply problems before they disrupt your HFC network. BOSS
automates the best practices of battery maintenance programs and
standby event management, empowering cable operators to drive down
operational costs while driving up network reliability.
Test Manager enables the operator to schedule partial
discharge tests, generating a wealth of power supply
and battery data from which BOSS can predict battery
condition and maximum standby time.
Battery Manager analyzes battery, load and
environmental data using predictive algorithms to
estimate battery condition and maximum standby time,
facilitating a proactive battery maintenance program.
Standby Manager displays the present standby status
of power supplies, allowing operators to assess the
future impact of standby events in real-time, enabling
the prioritization and timely deployment of resources to
prevent system outages.
The BOSS System provides a unique, modular framework allowing you to select only the
applications you need now, with the reassurance that as your needs evolve, additional
