2. When the sport was created?
Parkour was developed in France, during the late
1980s.The discipline was popularised in the late 1990s
and 2000s through films, documentaries, and
advertisements.
3. Who was it’s creator?
Was created by Raymond Belle,
and further practiced by his

friends, the self-styled Yamakasi.
David Belle.
4. What to do to practice this sport?
Train naturally: parkour is a stellar poster child for natural
movement training.
Train with conviction and intelligence: parkour’s
emphasis on awareness of your environment and
circumstances, as well as performance under pressure,
requires as much of these qualities as you can muster,
then challenges you to dig deep down and find even more.
Train for fun: the playful and spontaneous nature of
parkour encourages creativity in a way that I can only liken
to improvisational jazz and dancing.
5. Equipment (1)
◦ Shoes: Easily the most important piece of equipment
you'll want for practicing parkour is a good pair of
sneakers. When looking for shoes, you want to find a
model that provides enough padding to cushion hard falls
and jumps.
◦ Clothing: In terms of clothing, wear something you are
comfortable in and that won't restrict your movement. Your
clothing should be light and breathable, since you will be
working up a sweat and moving around a lot.
6. Equipment (II)
Things to carry: Always carry some form of ID. If you do
get into an accident while practicing parkour, you need
people to be able to identify you if you need medical help.
Protective gear: You don't need a lot of protective gear in
parkour because wearing it can encourage sloppy
technique. Depending on the environment or on your own
needs and preferences, you might want to wear gloves.
They should be fingerless to improve your grip.
7. Conclusion
Parkour is more than a sport, it’s a discipline, and it
needs to be practiced frecuently, but this doesn’t meens
that we can enjoy it, we can enjoy the freedom we feel
while practing parkour. We feel we control the world and
we can do everything we want.
