Suring Mens & Womens Alumni Basketball
Games 2010
The 2010-2011 Boys Basketball Team will once again be holding Suring Basketball
Alumni Games on Sat. November 27th at 5,6 &: 7PM.
The past few years we have had very good attendance, and many positive comments
about getting together annually. We are trying to make this an annual event the Saturday
after Thanksgiving.
We use the Alumni game as a fund raiser for basketball and are once again asking for a
$20 player fee donation and if anyone wants to be a Alumni T-Shirt sponsor the total
player fee and T-Shirt sponsorship would be $50 (sponsors will be listed on the back of
the t-shirts)
I am excited for the season to begin, I expect us to play exciting Suring Eagle
Basketball. We are the defending M &: 0 conference champs and return the conference
MVP along with 3 other starters •
Last years Alumni game helped us fund our trip to Milwaukee to play at the Bradley
Center before the Bucks game, it also helped to fund our summer league that keep us
competitive. We also started a face book page this year (suringeagles). We will post
pictures and video throughout the year and also have some photos from years past posted
. Also look for our home games to be online through prepsonthenet.com.
Our game schedule for Alumni night will be the Women playing at 5:00 pm.
Men at 6 pm &: 7 pm •A volleyball net will be set up in the elementary gym after the
Womens game if the women want to play volleyball. We will also have a 3 point contest
for any Alumni that wants to enter. Their will be a $5 entry and winner takes half.
