spins with fixed physical coordinates.

It is clear that magnetization would be produce
Due to the appearance of a so called ghost magnetic field
QUESTION?
Can the Barnett Effect be expressed and detected at the nuclear regime?
WHY?
As a first it has never been proven. If proved it can open the door to pumping spin
magnetization through mechanical rotation instead of using NMR magnetic fields which are
very expensive to maintain. Possibly special
rotation + vibrations sequences can be created to obtain desired results.
GUESS…
I do believe this effect should be pronounced, but we need an experiment to test the theory
as always.
PROBLEM!!!
There is no machinery out in the market
that would allow us to conduct this
experiment right away.
Built a machine capable of functioning in
many stages in order to prove this effect.
