4. The PCA mainly offers food and beverage, and recreational services. The Club has sports complexes for tennis, bowling, billiards, basketball, and swimming. It also has dining and bar areas. In addition, the PCA has a Library which is considered as one of the best in the Philippines among social clubs. The PCA was founded on December 1907 by Filipinos who had studied in the United States (pensionados). They were dedicated to the promotion of friendly relations between Filipinos and foreign nationals. In the 1920s, the Club opened its membership to Filipino professionals and businessmen even though they hadn’t studied in the United States.
