audience is orientated properly
• If you cross the line you must show the
shot of you crossing

3. Shot reverse shot
• Shot reverse shot, type of edit, when you
cut back and forth between footage from 2
camera
• Often used in conversations

4. Match on action
• Observing the continuity and fluidity
between 2 shots

5. Cut-away
• Type of edit, where you cut from the
general sequences too an object or
character which gives the audience clues
to the narrative
• For example: runner running and cuts to a piece
of glass, ‘ot oh’
• Audience sees what is going to happen
