The City of San Leandro developed a spot repair project for its sewer system using PACP coded videos of pipe inspections. Managing the large amount of video data was difficult without specialized software. The city used T4 Underground software to display the PACP coded videos and inspection notes on an interactive GIS map. This allowed city staff to quickly filter videos based on defect codes to prioritize locations for repair. Viewing defects mapped on the sewer system helped the city identify 49 locations for spot repairs. The project demonstrated that city staff could design repairs in-house using video data organized in T4 Underground.
