3. ORANGE & CHAMOMILE HOT TODDY
Ingredients
• 1 chamomile tea bag
• 1 tbsp. honey
• ½ small lemon
• 1 orange wedge
• 2 cloves
Method
• Coat the bottom of the mug
with honey
• Juice the lemon & pour into
the mug
• Heat some water in a pan on
the stove
• Stud the orange wedge with
the cloves
• Add the teabag and orange
wedge to the water
• Leave for 5 minutes
• Remove the tea bag and
orange wedge & pour the
liquid into the mug
4. TRADITIONAL WHISKY HOT TODDY
Ingredients
• 1 tsp. honey
• ½ tsp. brown sugar
• 50ml whisky (I like a
nice blended scotch
like Chivas Regal, but
the choice is yours)
• 1 clove
• 1 cardamom pod
• 1 strip lemon peel
Method
• Put the ingredients in a
glass and fill it with
boiling water
• Squeeze the
cardamom pod gently
to allow the spices to
mix with the brew.
• Relax and sip away
5. CIDER & POMEGRANATE TODDY
Ingredients
• 1 cup of pomegranate
juice
• 3 cups of cloudy cider
• 3 cloves
• 3 cinnamon sticks
Method
• Put all the ingredients
into a saucepan
• Let them simmer them
for about 10 minutes
• Remove the cloves
and cinnamon sticks
• Pour into a mug
6. APPLE CIDER HOT TODDY
Ingredients
• 50 ml of whisky or
bourbon
• 30 ml apple cider (I like
the cloudy, scrumpy
type but it’s up to you)
• 1 green tea bag
• ½ small lemon
• A cinnamon stick and
star anise to garnish
Method
• Boil a kettle and pour
the water over the tea
bag in a mug
• Add the whisky and
cider
• Squeeze in the lemon
juice
• Garnish with the
cinnamon and star
anise
7. WARM HONEY & CAYENNE HOT
TODDY
Ingredients
• 1 black tea bag
• 1 tsp. honey
• A little cayenne pepper
Method
• Heat some water in a
pan on the stove
• Place the tea bag in it
for 4 minutes
• Pour the contents into
a mug along with the
cayenne pepper and
honey
