Three monkeys - Mama, Papa, and baby monkey - made banana soup for dinner but found that Papa's was too hot, Mama's was too cold, and only baby monkey's was just right. They went for a walk to let their soups adjust temperature. An explorer named Silverlocks came upon their empty hut, sampled all the soups and beds, making a mess, and finished baby monkey's soup. When the monkeys returned, they discovered Silverlocks in baby monkey's bed. Silverlocks apologized and the monkeys invited her to be their friend, and they all lived happily ever after.

1. SILVERLOCKS AND THE THREE MONKEYS
Once upon a time there lived three monkeys. Mama, Papa, and
baby monkey. One day Mama monkey made banana soup,
their favorite.
When dinner was done, she poured papa's soup in a big
bowl, hers into a medium size bowl, and baby monkeys in a
small bowl. Papa then got a big spoon, Mama got a medium
size spoon, and baby monkey got a small spoon.
They all took a bite. Papa said "Mine's too hot."
Then Mama said "Mine's too cold."
Baby monkey said "Mine's just right."
Then all of them decided to take a walk to let it cool off or let
it cook.But baby monkey did not want to go he wanted to stay
and eat his banana soup.
"You are not going to stay here by your self.
"Yes I will. I want to eat my soup so it won't get cold like
yours." But Mama monkey won the argument, so baby monkey
had to go for a walk.
But baby monkey's banana soup would get cold because as
soon as they left an explorer, named Silverlocks, came along
and knocked on the door.
"No one must be home, so I will treat myself to a little
snack." But that was not all she thought she would do. So she
walked inside and saw the banana soup bowls.
First she tasted Papa's soup and said "This is tooooo hot!"
Then she tasted Mama monkey's banana soup and said
"This tooooo cold!"
But then she tried baby monkey's soup and said that it
was just right. So she started to eat it and then finished it.
When she was done she decided to finish her tour through the
hut.

2. Then she found branches. So first she sat on Papa's
branch." This to lumpy." she said. After she sat on Mama's
branch and said " This is to poky." Next she sat on the final
branch and it was baby monkey's branch. She sat on and said
"This is just right."
But then she noticed that the branch was to thin and fell
into a pile of banana peels. "YUCK," Silverlocks said.
Once she got out of the pile of the banana peels she went
up stairs to check it out. In the first room she found some
beds. So she started to jump on them.
First she jumped on Papa's bed. It was not bouncy
enough. Next she jumped on Mama's bed and t was too
bouncy. So then she started to jump on baby monkey's bed
and this bed was just right and kept bouncing.
So the family of monkeys soon came home. They wanted
to eat dinner now.
They entered the hut. Then looked at the bowls of banana
soup.
Mama and Papa said," Somebody has been sampling my
soup."
Baby monkey said "Somebody ate my soup." They ran to
their branches.
Papa said "Somebody has been sitting on my branch!"
"Somebody has also been sitting on my branch too," said
Mama monkey.
Baby monkey said,"Someone has been sitting in my branch
and they broke it. They also made a mess of my banana peel
pile.
They ran as fast as they could to their beds. Papa said "
Someone has been jumping on my bed!"
Mama said " Someone has been jumping on my bed too!"

3. Baby monkey then said " Somebody was jumping on my
bed and they still are!!!"
Once Silverlocks noticed the three monkeys she said sorry
for trashing their hut and for bothering them. Then Silverlocks
said that she would never come again the three monkeys
asked her if she would like to be their friend and she said yes.
So Silverlocks and the three monkeys became friends and
lived a very happy life
