• Most of the time taken by the packers in the process of pick
packing is for walking to collect items. in this layout line items
are in a single line so that while picking boxes it is convenient
to pick all the line item std boxes in a single.
• PROMOTION ITEMS are the one which have to be dispatched
in bulk hence we place those items close to shipping dock.
• OBSOLETE ITEMS should be moved to the end since we don’t
need them regularly.

6. LAYOUT DISCUSSION
• MS ITEMS and ULTIMO items are kept in a locked cage
room since they are costly an need extra safety and stock
control.
• SPARES are kept close to the piece packing are so that it
is easy to get them for packing.
