Bulls Eye is a relatively well known resting place for tourists who wish to visit famous
national parks of Amboseli, Masai Mara in Kneya and Serengeti In Tanzania. The village is
located on Road No. 104 , at a Distance of 105 Kilometer from Nairobi and 20 KM from
Kaziado county capital. There was a depression with natural drainage from local hillocks
passing through forest. Being near to the market , people in neighborhood used to
depend on costly bore hole water providers.
Led By Ms. Merry, Chair of the Bissil Dairy Cooperative ,February 2017 saw a new
beginning for the women members of the Maasai Kajiado Dairy Women’s Cooperative in
Bulls Ey. The village is one of the areas covered under USAID’s India Africa Agriculture
Innovation Bridge initiative as part of the US Government’s Feed the Future program,
which aimed to pilot test traditional Indian water harvesting technologies in local
context. Technoserve worked with Masai Kaziado Women Dairy Cooperative to create an
wonderful Johad with Design Capacity of 6000 Cubic Meter. Completed in April the
Johad is scheduled to be open for community in June, 2017.
