6. Lessons for us
Be willing to listen to God’s voice
Do not be a quitter, he wants you to go thro’
Take on challenges from God with his favour
Calls you by name as he called Moses
He knows what you are going thro’
He is El-Roi, a God who sees - e.g Hagar
Remove your sandals- your protection strategy
Past failures , mistakes, defenses, security, etc.
You are standing on holy ground- wherever God
meets you , it is holy.

7. God gives us a second chance always
Make a fresh start – He wants you to be His
weapon
No excuses from the past- God’s people should
not live in bondage to anyone/ anything
He starts things anew
You may be in a minority but God is on your
side
You may be despised somewhere but He takes
you back to the same people but fully
equipped to meet challenges
Quite often wilderness is the best place to
meet God alone
