Omaha’s Featured January ASHRAE Speaker
Ellen Fitzsimmons is an Urban Planner with HDR, Engineering. She
specializes in community outreach and visioning, using these skills in
projects ranging from major public infrastructure programs to
neighborhood redevelopment plans. Prior to HDR, Ms. Fitzsimmons
worked as an advocate for community development and urban design
initiatives. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Planners (AICP) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. She holds a
Masters in Urban Planning and Design from the University of
Washington and a Bachelors from Creighton University.
