The Little Prince IS Written By
Saint Exupery In 1943
He was Born in lyon France. He Was A
French Writer And A Pilot
4. Theme
Characters in The Little Prince, especially
the prince, are really committed to learning
what is true. “True,” in this sense, doesn’t
just mean what’s actual versus what’s a lie,
but what is real or as the fox puts is, “what
is essential”
5. Conflict
The Childlike perspectives of the prince and,
to some extent, those of the narrator are in
conflict with the stifling beliefs of the
adult world.
6. The Settings
The Sahara Desert. Technically, most of this
book takes place in the Sahara Desert. This
is where the narrator first meets the prince,
and this is where the two of them spend all
their time together. ... And then, like a
drink of cool water in the desert, the little
prince makes his way into the narrator's life.
7. The Little Prince
The Prince lives on an asteroid, B612, which has threevolcanoes and a roseHe spends his days caring for his asteroid, pulling out thebaobab trees that are trying to take root thereThe Prince leaves one day to see what the rest of theuniverse is like, and visits several other asteroids each ofwhich is inhabited by an adult who is foolish in his own wayThen, he visits Earth where he meets lots of roses, a fox,an aviator and a snake
9. The Fox
The Little Prince meets and tames the fox on Earth
The fox explains to the prince that his rose is unique and
special, because it is the one that he loves
He tells the prince the meaning of love and friendship and
his secret: “It is only with the heart that one can see
rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye ”
10. The Conclusion
The Prince has left the Earth—it looked like
he died when the snake bit him, but his body
is nowhere to be found. The narrator's made
it out of the desert, but that seems like
small potatoes compared to wondering what
happened to the Prince.
