NEW COMPUTER PROPOSAL 2014
OVERVIEW
The computers at the library which I work are outdated. Many employees have issues
with them on a daily basis and complain that they are affecting work. Employees
are not the only ones that rely on our computers, patrons who do not have the
technology at home come in to use them every day. For the past year employees and
managers have been talking about upgrading but, have not found a way to make it
happen yet.
THE OPPORTUNITY
What I am proposing is that we will be able to afford new computers by budgeting
in the right areas along with having other fundraising activates.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
1. Key player- office manager
2. What she cares about- She is frustrated with an outdated system but is
concerned about the budget.
3. How will they benefit- Having an upgraded system will allow all staff to work
efficiently without any frustrations. More of the public will be attracted to use our
facility.
4. How they feel about the topic- The audience is well aware of dilemma and
wants the upgrade.
5. What the audience needs- To be able to work an upgrade into the budget.
6. Where does the audience fall? - The audience believes the issue is worth
addressing and cares about addressing it.
POSSIBLE KEY STAKEHOLDERS
Office Manager- Responsible for all of our finances and determines where our
money is spent.
