1. Evolution
Cave/Durldedoor seaside
The grass is blowing in the wind on the cliffs and the wave’s crash against surrounding rocks. Mud encrusted feet interrupt the gentle
grass. The characters bare feet land roughly on the hard ground, it’s Gunter our macho and intelligent caveman, he begins to embark on
his daily activities.
Deans House
A shot of the carpet is interrupted by a foot, wearing socks and insulated clothes, its Dean our modern day chav, he likes his brands such
as Umbro and puma. He is beginning an average day in his life.
Durdledoor seaside
Gunter is beginning to create fire by using basic resources like pebbles and sticks. He begins to concentrate and insert hard work for his
daily activities.
Deans House
Deans mysterious hand is then seen turning on a central heating system which contrasts the hard work that Gunter has previously put in
to create a similar final result. Deans hands are covered in body ink and tacky gold jewellery as he likes to look dominant.
Cave Interior
Gunter is seen creating some sort of art work on the walls of his cave again by using the basic resources he has provided from his time.
His enjoyment levels rise as he begins entertaining himself from creating this piece of art and his concentration is also high. Parts of
Guntars body are gradually revealed and his body is not fully established until later on in the sequence.
Deans House
We then see Dean having his instalment of entertainment in the form of computer games and mobile phones and he begins to show a
lack of concentration on one object as he multi tasks between his mobile and computer games. He escapes from reality and focuses his
attention fully on his electronic goods.
Durldedoor/House
We then see Gunter hunting for food with spears and sharp objects he has created himself. More of Guntars body is revealed from his
muddy hairy legs up to his scraggly wired beard. The concentration levels are high and his work rate has increased to receive a meal.
We then see Dean pierce the film on a fast food burger and set the microwave to heat his food. The blade he pierces the film with is
pulled from his back pocket and at this point we gradually begin establish his body. His ink covered hands up to his neatly shaven beard.
His concentration levels are still low and he is relaxed in the comfort of his own home.
