Education helps build the roots for entrepreneurship and can be
utilized to inspire environmentalism.
Indirect benefits of education include increased per-capita GDP,
better quality of life, increased civic participation, lower
incarceration rates, and more positive perceptions of public

with the support of Stanford professors, renown authors, and
industry experts, will include:

Volunteer students from the best universities such as UPCH
and La Universidad Católica will undergo teacher training and
volunteer two hours per month at a local high school. In total,
students will have between 8-10 THP classes per month.

students and passionately engage them in the subject matter.

As a way to culminate the students’ learning experiences, they will
work on a year-long social or for-profit venture of their choosing.
Under the guidance of our experienced and knowledgeable
Advisory Board, staff at the school, and university advisors, the
students will learn first-hand skills in business, social
entrepreneurship, sustainability, and engineering.

34. Student-Exchange Program
Students from universities in the United States including
Stanford U., Harvard U., and Princeton U. can travel to Peru and
teach courses at impoverished high schools for Summer Break.
Alternately, Peruvian teachers can teach at schools in the United
States.

35. School Construction: Santa Maria del Mar
The Human Potential aims to construct a school in Santa Maria
del Mar on UPCH’s new campus. This will allow for a more in-
depth education, better preparation for the Capstone Projects,
access to top University facilities and staff.
