To whom it may concern,
I am happy to recommend Mr. Sparks for employment. I have worked closely with John Sparks for the
past academic year 2011-2012. John has an excellent work ethic. He is timely, organized and thorough
in his lesson planning. He is quick to receive input in planning and lesson execution. He is well versed in
the area of writing instruction. While eager to work with those writers that excel, John was equally
eager to adapt lessons for his other students as well. He is aware of the need for differentiation within a
classroom setting, especially with regards to inclusion with his special needs students.
Mr. Sparks has a great depth of knowledge in the area of technology and how it can apply to student
engagement. He worked diligently with the technology department of our school district to implement
air slate activities, Renzulli learning and other programs that support classroom learning. He functioned
as one of our “go to people,” for ways to use technology and was always willing to help. Finally, John
has an excellent grasp of the need to collect and analyze student data through formal and informal
assessments both at the district and state level.
Sincerely,
