The Florence School of Regulation provides policy workshops, training, and advisory services related to energy regulation. Over the past decade, it has hosted over 100 policy workshops attended by over 1,000 regulators, policymakers, and industry representatives. It also provides webinars, online courses, and contributes to an online energy regulation encyclopedia. Recently, the school has advised the European Commission Directorate-General for Energy on reports regarding renewable energy, energy infrastructure, and the transition to a low-carbon economy by 2050. It also advises the Council of European Energy Regulators on issues like the gas target model and electricity and gas transmission tarification.
