Teachers were able to select two
PD SELECTION SUMMARY
I will chose to do professional development on grant writing skills in
collaborative groups. The highest request was for SMART board
training with ten people requesting it. The parish has hired someone
to conduct a SMART board training the week before school begins.
The next highest requested number was for grant writing skills. I will
begin to gather data to give to the teachers to assist with writing
grants. I set up the professional development in the form of
professional learning communities. There will be three session of PD
on grant writing skills. The first session will be an introduction to
grants, and ideas for grants to write. The next meeting will be a
working session to help put proposals into writing. The last session
will be to critique and revise grant proposals. Together we can make
a difference and increase technology use.

  • 6. PD SELECTION SUMMARY I will chose to do professional development on grant writing skills in collaborative groups. The highest request was for SMART board training with ten people requesting it. The parish has hired someone to conduct a SMART board training the week before school begins. The next highest requested number was for grant writing skills. I will begin to gather data to give to the teachers to assist with writing grants. I set up the professional development in the form of professional learning communities. There will be three session of PD on grant writing skills. The first session will be an introduction to grants, and ideas for grants to write. The next meeting will be a working session to help put proposals into writing.
