   The Herb Amster Center is a new division of Jewish
  Family Services of Washtenaw County responsible for
    the development and implementation of revenue-
  producing programs and services, consistent with JFS’
         mission and reflective of Herb’s legacy.

     families, The Herb Amster Center
    will bolster the economic well-being
          of the entire community.”
The Herb Amster Center will
further the JFS Mission:

The Herb Amster Center will continue a
tradition of excellence at JFS through
innovation and entrepreneurship

  JFS was established 18 years ago with a total budget of
  $11,500

  Today has $1.1 million operating budget

  Serves 2,500 clients/year, providing more than 30,000
  hours of direct service with 18.5 staff FTE

  Serves the entire community through a
  comprehensive and holistic approach
The Herb Amster Center will be built on the
high standards of JFS’ CARF Accreditation

                     CARF (Council on the Accreditation
                     of Rehabilitation Facilities)—Gold
                     Seal of Approval

                     JFS Received 3-year CARF
                     accreditation - maximum term that
                     can be awarded

                     Allows JFS to bill for third-party
                     reimbursement (Medicare, Blue
                     Cross Blue Shield, other major
                     insurance companies)
