2. After owning a 2012 Megelli 250 for more than
six months here is my review
3. Megelli’s in the past have been known to receive
bad reviews due to design and manufacturing
issues relating to the reliability of parts,
4. In recent years these shortcomings have been
fixed (a good sign.)
5. I have noticed that the kickstand issue dragging
when leaning the bike over in left hand bends
noted in earlier models has not been an issue
and as a result has been fixed.
6. Other previous issues involve a faulty fuel tap
however this has not been the case for me
personally.
7. Made in china so the quality isn’t to as high a
standard as from Japan,
8. i have had no mechanical problems with the
bike and
9. have loved riding it once i got used to its
nuances (as you would do with any motorcycle
for that matter.)
10. The issue of clearance between the handlebars
and the front cowling at full lock on turns seems
to be fine as I have not had a problem with this.
11. It has a quite torquey mid range since it is a
single cylinder and really starts to sing around
7,000 rpm.
12.
13. Since it is a single cylinder it wont have the top
speed to match bikes like the Ninja 250 or
CBR250RR but to be honest who needs to ride
at 140km/h+ on legal roads anyway?
