- Daughters were only 3 & 5 when they started to ski – ALL OVER TH WORLD They chose Deer Valley: the amazing setting, shadow of the gondola, ski in/out – there is nothing more ski in than this! Greatest snow on earth I am going to go into more detail about Deer Valley shortly, but let’s continue on with the home.

- Ibiza Suite You might start to notice the Spanish Heritage Nancy’s maiden name is Casa Nova Her family comes from Spain. They brought her parents to Casa Nova to surprise them and dedicated the home to them. Very special! All of the rooms are amazing, but this one seems to really make people smile. The whimsical colors, the light, the hand painted walls – again equipped with the same technology.

- Deer Valley is right out our back door. It has been consistently rated the # 1 Ski Resort in North America – in fact in 06, 07, 08, 09 and 10. Groom is amazing – fresh corduroy The owners like to call it a “Cream Cheese Corduroy day” Fresh powder with amazing grooming – right out the back door! Under the shadow of the only enclosed gondola in Deer Valley. Ski right in to our own Private – Ski Lodge
- I have had the opportunity to watch guests skin in for lunch. Their smiles, their over the top estatic beaming faces make my day! It is awesome to ski in for lunch or Après ski. This extroidanry ameneity and meemory does not exist in a catered chalet, anywhere else in the US – let alone in Utah… maybe not even the world.
- Right across from the ski lockers and the amazign kitchen is this yummy lounge area. This house and this area was thought through by skiiers for skiiers. The owners host large groups of diverse skiiers. In fact we have had guests as young as 5 years old and as old ads 75 years old, ski in and out of Casa Nova! The Response is universal: The best ski experience ever. This definitely sets us apat – no peer as a ski house.
- This room is a total crowd pleaser – especailly for little girls! This is the 7 th of our 7 bedrooms and it is accessed through the bookshelf – making it even more special! Grandmother’s attic – the same appeal as Grandma’s attic has always had
- 60 ‘ TV Rock Bank Xbox 1 of 5 separate gathering places. We have board games. Casa Nova affords the opporutunity for familes and corporate groups the ability to gather or seek solitude. That is a major differentiator to other homes.

- After 6 years floating around the med on Luxury Yachts, we are blessed to have Meryl van der Ver as our executive chef She has worked in Chamonix, mega yachts, trained in and provived 7 star service, she is our Executive Chef. I don’t know of another home that has an executive chef! She may have specialties, but she can cook anything and it is always delicious. People send private jets for her so she can come and cook for them.
- This room seats 15 comfortably…and I mean comfortably. Those seats are soft leather and recline…all the way! They have cup holders, we have plenty of blankets and your favorite theater candy! Besides the library of over 300 movies from classics to new releases – choices for young and old, guests can screen their footage of the days skiing, tribute dvds, or groups can present a powerpoint. A few examples. The owners put their parents entire wedding album on dvd and played it in the theater for her mom’s 70 th birthday. I helped our guests do a birthday dvd – put together on site in our library – to show for their dad’s big birthday celebration. Let’s talk about the technology. The owners went to great lengths to have this room THX Certified. We wanted guests to be able to screen films at a high level of quality of sound and picture. You really feel like you are in a real theater – except better. Reclyning with a glass of wine… Casa Nova won CEDIA’s Biggest Baddest Home Award last year for having the finest deployment of home technology in the nation. There is more code written for our Crestron system than any other home in the history of Crestron. Our guests from Hong Kong, watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in the theater. And that was summer! It is huge for sporting events – bowl week!
- Romantic Bathing Suite – Toro Suite Amazing view of the Lake while relaxing in this sumptuous tub. The lake is amazing – people don’t expect it and it takes their breath away…every time!
- Again – this is another great opportunity to admire this amazing view! You can look at the lake below and the Uintah’s 12,000 feet, in the distance. The Fitness Center is decked out with top of the line equipment.
- Nothing like this, as far as I know, in any other property. Fully set for facials and massage. We have a cache of spa providers to rival any luxury spa. Estitician Massage therepists. Mani/Pedi Our estiician is amazing. Women from all over the world, who have visited luxury spas all over the world have consistently told me that our estitician is the BEST they have ever had! Yoga instructors – we have had instructors come in for many guests. Personal trainers
- This is the main gathering area of Casa Nova – sort of our lobby. This is perfect for cocktail hour, games, puzzles. Many a puzzle has been done on that table! To the left becomes the dance floor – disco ball and all. This area is perfect for a small band. The acoustics are amazing. We have had a piano player for dinner music and then sing along, a 3 piece country band and a solo guitarist and they have all been amazing. The acoustics are perfect for live music – or you can simply turn on the player piano.

- Gourmet Theater kitchen You can seat 31 in entire kitchen 4 ovens, including a wood fire oven perfect for pizza! That is a very fun event! Chef Meryl is wonderful with guests who would like to sit and watch as she prepares or for those who would like to participate. Formal dining with curtain-plated service Or open and participative
- Game room – This room connects to the Family room we saw earlier. Making it another amazing gathering room. Families can watch TV, or play games while other are playing pool. There is an iPod docking station, or you can choose from 3 different XM radio stations, an iPod in the dock in the kitchen, the player piano – many many options.
- This is our beautiful dining room. It sits across from the gourmet kitchen. It can again be participative with the kitchen – and other diners at the bar or breakfast table, or Closed off with a beautiful red velvet curtain for an intimate, private dining experience. This table seats 14 comfortably. There is a “Lazy Susan in the center. This is also a great meeting table for corporate guests here on a retreat. We had an easel set up for them and it was very effective. They went from here to the theater for a presentation.
- This is La Terazza – or as the owners like to call it, the Dreams Come True Lounge. They had a vision – they wanted to be able to grill steaks and drink martini’s while it was dumping snow! And they have! With the radiant heat, the three powerful heat lamps over head and the wood burning fireplace, it is toasty. Unless there is an uncharacteristic wind from the east, this deck is completely protected. The house was built in this location because of its protection from the wind. This deck is phenomenal in Summer and Winter. The view is spectacular and we have seen many rainbows archign over the lake below.
- Remind them of my roll. To have someone on sight to ask questions about the electronics, the area, activities – is priceless. I have made the most amazing relationships with guests all over the world. The Besselaars, who had been at Necker Island in the summer - $29000 a day, told me that Casa Nova and our service was better than that experience. They said more than once during their vacation and many times after in weekly phone calls and emails that this was the best vacation they had EVER had. (Pause) The will be back. Our own snow making St Regis. We are 300 yards from –This brand new World Class 5 star hotel. Pause They chose to build in Deer Crest – the private gated community in Deer Valley. Parallel to none. Six separate living areas – again having the opportunity for families and groups to gather all together and to split up into smaller groups, really sets us apart. This has been such a nice surprise for some of the large families we have hosted. We all love our families…but it is nice to have some down time before the next meal, or movie. For groups – to work on different presentations, reflect on learnings. Split off in to smaller work groups. Award winning – again – Biggest Baddest House award! Library – As part of my pre arrival communication, I send out a list of our current movies, and xbox games. I like to let our guests know what we have and that I can (do my best) to get any film or game they would like to have while they are here. Bunk Room – This room has 8 bunk beds – 2 sets of twins over twins and 2 sets of twins over queens. It also has 2 full baths and an extra sink to accommodate everyone. We actually had 10 college age guys stay in that room…and it didn’t smell! Modern technology. We have a Hypoallergenic micro air filtration system. Fresh air is brought in automatically into the house in every room every 30 minutes – except the bunk house where it happens every 15 minutes. Linens – these are amazing. Just another major indicator that this house was built with the guest in mind. Over and over the guests exclaim – you have thought of everything! Our most recent guests – the retired Executive Director of World Bank (pause) and is family, could not believe how luxurious, cozy and full of amenities Casa Nova is. Richard Fain, the president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (pause) brought his family to Casa Nova and I know they will be back. They were extremely impressed with the detail, the amenities, the comfort and the service. Full Service – All (phenomenal) meals, Chef Meryl, transportation, lift passes, turn down.
- There are some misconceptions when it comes to skiing Utah. People think of Colorado – and for that reason, Utah is still one of the best kept secrets. Here are some stats you should know: Access from anywhere in the world. SLC Airport – just rated #1 most efficient airport in North America (Pause) 12 World…2 in 12 minutes, and one in our own back yard. 350”…and this is dependable. The owners have owned homes in PC for almost 10 years (have have been skiing here for 25.) If there has ever been a year where there was low snow, DV makes & grooms more snow than any other resort in the area…maybe in Utah.
- Summers are an amazign time to be in Park City. The Hiking and and mountain biking right out the back door is spectacular. There are activites for all ages and all abilities. The scenery and view can’t be beat.
