            Lesson 3.3:

            *rate of change ­ a ratio that describes, on average, how much one 
            quantity changes with respect to a change in another quantity

            *slope ­ the ratio of the change in the y­coordinate (rise) to the change in 
            the x­coordinate (run) as you move from one point to another

                You can find the slope by either 
                graphing it or using this formula!
