Brigadier Retd vs Government Bangladesh Case

A retired Brigadier filed a writ petition challenging a government order that stopped his pension payments. The court analyzed the applicable laws and pension rules, and considered whether the government followed proper procedures in issuing its order. Ultimately, the court ruled in favor of the petitioner, finding the government's order to stop pension payments was unlawful and in violation of rules. The court directed the government to pay all arrears and resume the petitioner's regular pension.
