• At 13 April fire raged out through the timber warehouse
• Due to large stock pile of timber, fire raged for three days
• Start of 72 hours battle.

During three days of fire, there is
always staff who volunteer to do
surveillance at the incident location
• Works outside job-desc
All JGC staff regardless of the position
and job-desc, willingly and
wholeheartedly gives their best effort
to help in this matter. Even for small
things such as providing food for
others volunteer

It is noted that JGC team gives attention to
safety, one of the safety prerequisite
includes fully operational fire hydrant
which comes to helps in the incident
• Emergency drill
Previously in end of 2011 a fire drill was
conducted. It is prove to be useful as the
JGC team able to master tools to extinguish
fire within 15 minutes
It is to be noted that Jakarta Garden City build with safety in mind,

• Not even one things

Despite magnitude of the
fires, effort from our team
make the damage minimal.

• A manager provide meals for
whole team every mealtime
• Staff who come in the
midnight to replace the
exhausted members
• The residences deal with
catastrophes calmly and
without panic

• Heart of Fire beats the fire
Despite the obstacle magnitude, a team
with blazing spirit succeed to solve the
problem

Great act and creativity shown during
the fire. It comes from a compassionate

Without sacrifice from the staff, works for
over time and work regardless of their job

Despite Cakung reputation of it’s crime
rate, good intention from team spread
to volunteers.

The residents deal with the fire calmly,
because relentless effort from team.
Suppose the team give half-hearted
effort, a panic will spread out.
• Heavy tasks can be divided
Despite the magnitude of the fire,
amount of helps from team makes the
tasks delivered successfully

• Safety
Things we didn’t expect happens.
Remember to put safety in mind.
• Preparation
Suppose there are no-hydrant and
fire drill. The fire will bring greater
loss
• Standard & regulation
Sometimes accidents can feel so far
away, that a preparation looks
