2. THE CHRONOLOGY of THE FIRE INCIDENT
There was a fire at a timber warehouse located outside JGC Cluster C Phase 1 landed
house at 13 April 2012. Due to large stock pile of timber, the fire raged throughout
the night.
Our JGC team was at the scene throughout to take preventive action before the fire
brigade handle the situation.

3. The team also monitor and support the fire brigade with supply of water from our
water reservoir to put out the fire and prevent its spread to our cluster.

This effort done for 3 days from 13 – 15 April 2012.

During the incident, an integrated passion from
staff towards the project expressly shown:
– 24 hours commitment to stay at the incident location

All of the action was conducted with purpose to
– Prevent the fire incident spread out

– Be there for customer
– Extinguish the flame ASAP

During the incident, all departments regardless of
the responsibility and job desc, works together to
solve the problem
• Team works at the field
For the incident, as soon as the team arrived, team
divide the job by themselves, without a person in
charge or supervisor. Each person responsible
with different tasks and every person helps out
another

7. Build with SAFETY
• It is to be noted that fortunately fire hydrant
already in location and operated
• Fire Drill at December 2011 noted to be useful

8. LESSON LEARN
• Passion. With the passion of each staff who aim to provide the best
beyond the main task and willingness to coordinate well it will get the
best results.
• Collective Strength. With good cooperation between all departments,
the implementation of such a heavy task can be executed with optimum
results.
• Proved that the emergency drill is useful. It is evident that simulations
of emergencies we've done very influential at the time we had a real
emergency.
