Former cyclist Dan Stevens has accused the UK Anti-Doping agency of catastrophic failure for not investigating Dr. Mark Bonar, who Stevens blew the whistle on in a doping case. Stevens provided UKAD with prescriptions from Dr. Bonar that included his medical license number, but UKAD did not investigate. Stevens believes this was not an accident and calls UKAD's failure horrendous and diabolical. Stevens was initially treated by Dr. Bonar for low testosterone but then Dr. Bonar discussed other banned substances with Stevens and told him many elite athletes were using them.
