  • Streaming is a Web technology which allows a multimedia file to be played under a browser without waiting for the entire file to be transferred from the Web server. The advantage is that users can view the multimedia contents instantly upon the connection to a Web site.
  • PNG and SVG are better because they support lossless compression – graphic files can be compressed to small sizes and yet maintaining high quality. However, not every browser can support the new type of graphic like SVG.
