  4. 4. <ul><li>= Last Words with a Loud Voice: </li></ul><ul><li>Vs. 46 - Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. </li></ul>

  14. 14. <ul><li>John 17:1,4,5 - After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. </li></ul>

  16. 16. <ul><li>John 14:2-3 - In my Father’s house are many rooms ; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you , I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. </li></ul>

  22. 22. <ul><li>(3) Deceiver </li></ul><ul><li>Mt 27:61-63 - The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ </li></ul>
  23. 23. <ul><li>(4) Rebel - Trouble-Maker </li></ul><ul><li>Luke 23:5 -  But they insisted, “He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.” </li></ul>
  24. 24. <ul><li>= What do You Think is the Most Humiliating Insult to Jesus? </li></ul><ul><li>Mark 15:32 - Let this Christ, this King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” </li></ul>

  41. 41. <ul><li>= How Can We be Absolutely Confident of Our Future after the Earthly Life? </li></ul><ul><li>Hebrews 10:35 - So do not throw away your confidence ; it will be richly rewarded. </li></ul>
  42. 42. <ul><li>We Have Better Judge : </li></ul><ul><li>1Cor 4:3-5 - I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore </li></ul>
  43. 43. <ul><li>judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. </li></ul>
  44. 44. <ul><li>We Have Better Reward: </li></ul><ul><li>Hebrews 10:32-35 - Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You </li></ul>
  45. 45. <ul><li>sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. </li></ul>
