Day 1/14 Oct: Hanoi – arrival (…)
Pickup at the airpor for transfer to the hotel in Hanoi. Free for personal activities.
Sleep at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2/15: Hanoi – city tour – Sapa (B/L)
8h00-8h30 You are picked at the hotel for a guided full day tour of Hanoi, visiting the major
sights, including the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda and paying a homage to Vietnam's
most famous revolutionary, Ho Chi Minh. After lunch, we visit Ethnology Museum, the miniature
of Vietnam with 54 ethnic groups. Here carry out scientific research, collection, documentation,
conservation, exhibition and preserving the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s ethnic
groups. The museum also serves to guide research, conservation, and technology that are
specific to the work of an ethnographic museum. Back to the old quater where we keep walking
to visit bustling streets. Free till transfer to the station for overnight train to Sapa.

Day 3/16 Oct: arrive Lao Cai in early morning – Bac Ha Market tour – Sapa (B/L/D)
Arrive Lao Cai Train Station around 5:00. Then take bus to Bac Ha market. Located at 110km
from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of
the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic
groups and last from 8:30 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the
H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).
In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong
minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen
to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then get back to Lao Cai to continue up
to Sapa.

Day 4/17 Oct: Sapa – Lao Chai – Tan Van villages Trekking (B/L)
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel.
First start of 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley
to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village,
through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local
family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is
full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Last trek is
about 2Km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa by jeep or minivan.

Day 5/18 Oct : Lao Cai – Cat Cat – Sin Chai villages trekking (B/L/D)
3. Have breakfast, Take a morning walking tour of Sa Pa to visit a busy market where Red Dao,
Black H’mong and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to
sell their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. It is where you will find
fabric stained from dyed shade of blue, red and green intricately embroidered and stitched ... or
the rainbow colors of the Flower H’mong, flashes of the shining silver jewellery from the necks
and wrists of indigo-clad H’mong and the scarlet hues of the turbans worn by the Red Dao. In
the afternoon, take a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 3 km) to visit Cat Cat
Village of the Black H’mong, one of the more well-known ethnic village of Sapa. Relax at the
foot of the stunning Silver Waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was
constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.
Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 3 km to Sin Chai, the village located at
the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy
huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa
Back to Sapa, have shower before taking the bus transfer to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at mid night.

Day 6/19 Oct: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
7h40-8h20: You are picked at the hotel for a guided. You’ll take a 3.5-hour-drive to Halong Bay,
one of the great natural of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, the boat
crew will welcome you and transfer you to the junk for check-in and enjoy a cruise around
Halong Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. At the same time, you can
behold thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from the cle ar, emerald water.
After lunch you’ll join some activities on boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visit a
cave, doing kayaking or enjoy swimming in the sea before getting back to the junk for relaxing
and dinner. In the evening, you can join night fishing with locals.

Day 7/20: Halong – Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, your breakfast will be served while floating on the sea to explore the beauty of
Halong Bay before disembarking time. Joining some more activities on boat and the n checking
out cabin. The early lunch will be served before getting back to the main dock and you’ll then be
transferred to Hanoi about 16h30.

Day 8/21 : Hanoi - departure (B)
Free till checkout time. Trip ends.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING PROCEDURE
Indochina Treks Travel required deposit of at least 30% of total tour cost to guarantee
the booking. This ammount can be paid by credit card (through a secured payment
system), bank transfer, Western Union or Paypal.
Remainder of total tour cost must be paid in cash upon arrival or 1 weeks before
departure date if by any other payment methods.
Transfer fee, if any, must be paid at customer’s end. Indochina Treks Travel will
recognize the ammount received only.
CANCELLATION
At Indochina Treks Travel Co.,Ltd, we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our
guests but we must abide the cancellation policy of each service provider. Any cancellations
should be made in writing.
Cancellation by the customers
Where the Customer cancels the tour, then the effective date of cancellation will be the date the
company receives the written notification. The cancellation charge to the customer is listed
below:
More than 30 days before departure :deposit if forfeited
Between 15 and 29 days before departure :50 % of total tour cost
Between 7 days and 14 days before departure :70 % of total tour cost
Between 2 days and 6 days before departure :85 % of total tour cost
1 day or less :100 % of total tour cost
Flight tickets are fixed following the final itinerary, 100% charge for airfare for any
cancellation.
Cancellation by Indochina Treks Travel
If tour is not paid by the due date, the company shal have the right to cancel the tour. If we, at
the request of the customer, agrees to delay cancellation of the tour then the company still
cancells the tour for the customer’s non-payment, the cancellation charges set out shall apply
and be payable by the customer.
Special conditions
Indochina Treks Travel reserves the right to change these cancellation conditions depending on
airlines, hotels and cruises’ cancellation policies. We will inform you in writing in case the above
conditions need to be modified.
RESPONSIBILITY
Except in situation beyond human control, Indochina Treks Travel will be held responsibility for
any additional expense resulting from the change caused by us in itinerary, transportation,
accommodation.
Except in situation beyond human control, Indochina Treks Travel shall provide compensatory
service for participants or refund the difference in payment for service rendered below standard.
The detailed program and schedule flights are subject to change by airline without prior notice
and in accordance with the weather conditionals and daily operation of flights. Consequently,
itinerary concerned might be adjusted. If this occurs, Indochina Treks Travel will do all in its
power to assist participants in boarding flights or findding alternative arrangements . This is
done as a courtesy to participants and Indochina Treks Travel can not held the responsibility for
denied boarding, or additional charges occurred.
