3. Dimensions of dentition include four basic
premises, provided that the musculature in
normal:
Premise 1: an anterior limit exist. the teeth must
not be placed forward of basal bone
Premise 2:an posterior limit exist. teeth can be
positioned distally off the maxillary tuberosity
and/or impacted in the the area behind the
mandibular first molar in the mandibular arch
just as easily as they can be moved too far
