ASSISTANT ?
▪ Abbreviated & known as PA
▪ A Physician Assistant is a person licensed
as a medical providers.
▪ Typically, a PA would assist the doctor
with diagnosing , treating, and prescribing
medication to patients.
3. HOW DO YOU BECOME A PA?
To become a Physician Assistant,you have to graduate from an accredited
school.Below I provided a link to local accredited schools.

Typically,people are in school for about 6 to 7 years.Most courses
focused on science and anatomy.
Take a national certification exam- Physician Assistant National Certifying
Examination (PANCE)
*Exam fee $500 and 6 to 6 rule.
Earn a license in the state you would live to practice in!
4. WHAT DOES A PA DO ?
Physician Assistants have a lot of responsibilities
and can perform a lot of produces doctors can
do.
Some of the task PA can perform are:
▪ Physical examinations
▪ Prescribing medication
▪ Taking medical information
▪ Diagnosing & treating patients
▪ Ordering & review lab work (such as blood and
urine test, x-rays, etc.)
▪ Counseling patients
▪ Assist in surgery
▪ Set fractures and so much more!
