• -Rainy Season from May to October
• --Dry Season from November to April
• The climate isn’t stable all year long, it can go
from a rainy period to a long dry spell and then
moves on to a moderate warm/humid climate.
• Average Rainfall can be as high as 200
centimeters.
• Major Crops grown include: Coffee, Cotton,
Cereals, and fiber crops.

• El Salvador is located on the Caribbean Plate
• The Tectonic zone is somewhat active,
dormant volcanoes in El Salvador but
earthquakes to tend to occur.
• The last major earthquake was on January 13,
2001 with a magnitude of 7.6 on the Richter
scale.
• Very Mountainous and flat areas throughout
the land.
