Different elements show different patterns when they are caused to glow and that light is passed through a prism.
This is Hydrogen’s pattern
This is Hydrogen’s pattern in the ULTRAVIOLET range, the VIBLE LIGHT range,  and the INFRARED range.
Hydrogen’s electrons cannot fly around anywhere they want.  They only exist in certain areas around the atom.
