These are the lyrics to the song we our using for our
music video. The lyrics are very repetitive, which is
common for this genre, as they don’t necessarily
have a narrative. The lyrics go with the chilled vibe of
the song.
The ‘Runaway’ lyric, is going to represent the girl in
our video who is walking through the forest, as if she
is ‘running away’ This is reinforced by ‘oh breeze’ as
she will be outside in the nature.

This is XXYYXX during a live performance. The set is very inclusive, as XXYYXX is not a
mainstream artist, there isn’t as many people there. This is similar to other live sets of
this genre.
In the performance there is the use of strobe lights, which creates a ‘ravey’, ‘trippy’ feel,
which is a common genre to the Chillwave genre, and is often represented in the music
videos too.
The set is very simplistic, as it is literally just XXYYXX playing to the crowd, there is no
gimmicks that are often found is more mainstream music such as professional lighting,
or dancers etc.
