2. PEARL HARBOUR
In ww2 the japanese bombed pearl habour so the usa couldn’t fight
back in ww2 but the usa got more ships.
3. GAS MASKS
A gas mask was a mask that protected them from bombs.
Everyone had a cardboard box that they had to carry around with
them all the time .Young children had a mask called the Mickey
mouse mask.
4. SPITFIRES
Spitfire were used in world war to fight against the Germans. During
that time they were the best fighter planes in the world war.
5. EVACUATION
People expected cities to be bombed, as enemy planes tried to destroy
factories. But bombs would hit homes and schools too, so children
would be in danger. The government tried at the start of the war to
'empty the cities' of children and mothers, This was 'evacuation', to
protect them from air raids.
6. SHELTERS
• The Anderson shelter was designed in 1938 . It was
named after Sir John Anderson, who was responsible
for preparing air-raid precautions immediately before
the start of World War II.
