This document provides a vocabulary matching exercise where students must match the following parts of the brain with their definitions: cerebrum, cerebellum, medulla, and cortex. The cerebrum is the front part of the brain responsible for intelligence and thought. The cerebellum is in the lower back of the brain and coordinates muscle movements. The medulla is the thin gray layer over the brain responsible for high level thought. The cortex is the lowest part of the brain and top of the spinal cord.
