to entice the audience so that they can be
watched (the most interesting part of the
film). They also do film trailers to get the
audience at the edge of their feet, only to
watch them.
Sometimes they target the movie at the
people who are interested in the genre of
the movie.

2. Film trailer conventions are made to see which
type of audience likes different genre of
movies. Like, Rom-com, adventure,
psychological thrillers, drama, family movies
and so on.
That way if they know the amount of people
that are interested in any of these genre’s of
films, they will earn a lot of money. Mainly
because people love it and will pay the right
amount of money to see it.
