1. Final Concept:
1) Intro (instrumental part) – Starts off with a close up shot of the main character
holding up a sign with the title of the song on a big piece of card. This shot will
then zoom out to a medium shot to show the audience the surroundings as well
as the character in the video. You will be able to see people walking around in
the background so it won’t just be this one person in the shot.
2) Sleeping through the day cause I work all night, get out the way things are
coming alive, look over there, another fight, I guess I should have seen the
warning signs – An eye-level, medium shot of the artist face singing the first line
of the song to the camera using direct address. The camera quickly cuts over to a
couple having an argument which is where a medium long shot will be used at
this point. Then another quick cut to a long shot of the artist walking past a
warning sign.
3) I think I’m gonna lose it, lose it, lose it – In this shot it will be the party scene. It
will show low key lighting with strobe lights to add to the party feel of the music.
There will be a medium shot of hands waving and dancing around. When the
beat kicks in it will cut into a POV shot of one of the people are the party swirling
around showing a full view of the surroundings.
4) One love, one life, that’s enough to get you through the night, tomorrow’s
gotta be a brighter day –This shot will show the main character’s singing to the
camera using direct address. It will start off as a long shot to show the
surrounding’s out the outside wood area that they will be in. The shot will zoom
into a close up of the faces when they hold up a sign each saying ‘one’. Then
zooming out again to show a long, worm’s eye view of the sun.
5) (We could be together?) I am not looking for a fight (Change the world
forever?) Just want to make it through the night (Make it all together) -
