1. -Some hero’s wear capes, some have super powers, and others fight in combat. My hero doesn’t need to be able to accomplish any of those things for him to earn the title of hero; he has many other things that make him great. Ever since I was little he has stood by my side in everything I’ve done my hero is very close to me; My hero is my Dad.
-What is a hero? Is it someone who solves the crime or saves the day? That could be true but really you see hero’s every day. Sometimes the people who mean most to you are your type of hero! The definition of a hero was a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities; this is the perfect definition of my dad.
-As a little girl I would look up to my dad for everything. I can remember him coming home from work and I would run to him, he would scoop me in his arms and ask me about my day, even if he had a long day at work he wouldn’t show it.
-He is a great teacher, I have been learning from him since the day I was born. I can remember the first time I tried to ride a bike with no training wheels he held me there till I had the courage to do it myself.
- As I would get a little older my dad would teach me new things and try to keep me on the right path. Leading me to Christ was the most important thing he did in my life. By being a mentor and showing me great examples of what true Christians should do was very inspirational and motivating, I’ve always wanted to follow my dad’s example, even though we all make mistakes it’s good to know you’ll always have someone there for you .
-Encouragement is a main reason why my dad is my hero. I play three sports, and sometimes I am way too hard on myself. He shows me that hard work and dedication will get the job done. Don’t worry about your skills they will come. And if I still feel like I can’t do it he shows me new things to work on to improve. My dad knows how important grades are, so obviously he wants me to do the best I can. The thing I love about him is that I don’t need to get straight A’s for him to be proud, as long as I give it my all he couldn’t be happier.
- This guy works harder than anyone I know. My dad works two jobs and still makes plenty of time for his family. Although sometimes I wonder if he ever gets a break from the late nights on the computer or early mornings to school, I know he loves what he does because he supports his family. Not only does he work two jobs he likes to be involved with the family sports. Coaching is one of his passions, my dad not only coached me when I was young, but is coaching my brothers as well. I can tell he loves what he does when he takes each boy aside and explains what they can do to help get their team the win.
-My dad and I have a relationship like no other father and daughter, I know I can tell him anything and he would understand every word. Although sometimes we don’t agree on everything we still respect one another. I can remember coming home one day and feeling like I just couldn’t do anything right, he was right there proving to me of all the talents and gifts I had. He made me feel like I could do anything if I just put my mind to it.
-Besides God, family is probably the most important thing to my dad. He tries hard to make sure we come before his needs. He loves spending time with us, I remember almost every Sunday he would take us out to eat weather it was Taco Bell or Red Robin.
- Traveling with the family is one of the best memories I have, one year my dad worked half the summer just to pay our way to Colorado for a family reunion. That was the best trip we have ever taken as a family, we were on the road for two weeks and stopped at a lot of major monuments, I will never be able to repay my dad for everything he did.
-
