Many students find English to be a troubling subject at a young
age. If students have a hard time learning how to read then
they become less likely to want to learn with out help from
teachers. Also, the English language is very confusing to top it
off. Why are there so many words spelled the same but have
different meanings? Why are there so many different ways to
spell there?

15. Conclusion
I feel that my first true experience with powerpoint is a success! Up
until now I had never really worked with this program. This was a fun and
organized way to learn how to make powerpoint’s or presentations in the
future. It helped me learn a lot. I still have a lot to figure out with all of the
options on this program. There are so many different things to choose
from! I chose to go with a school theme in this presentation because I
plan to become an Elementary school teacher after college. I picked the
most important subjects that I feel students learn throughout at the
younger stages of schooling. After selecting the subjects, I went from
there onto each slide.
I did have a few “ah-ha” moments in this process of making the
powerpoint. When I had a few people show me how to get started and get
more familiar with the program that was a big ah-ha for me. Also, when I
was looking for pictures and found just the right one for my slide I knew it
was another moment. Finally, my last moment I knew that made my
presentation a success was when I finally felt comfortable with all of the
work I was doing. All of my slides seemed to gel together and I liked the
outcome in the end. I was very pleased with working on this!
